The fastener industry is one of the top ten characteristic industries in Hebei Province, and its annual production and sales account for 55% of the national market.
According to the information of Yongnian Fastener Industry Development Service Center, Yongnian Fastener Enterprises have been deeply engaged in overseas markets in recent years, and their products have been exported to more than 110 countries and regions such as the United States, Japan, Egypt and Dubai.
At present, there are 476 fastener enterprises with independent export rights in Yongnian District, more than 50 key export-oriented enterprises, and 5 leading fastener enterprises have established overseas warehouses. In 2022, the export of fasteners in Yongnian District will earn about US $158.6 million, an increase of 70.8% year on year, which will rise against the trend.
Han Yonggang, secretary of the Party Leadership Group and director of the Yongnian District Bureau of Commerce, said that in 2022, the annual output of fasteners in the district will reach 5.6 million tons, with an output value of 38.5 billion yuan. Fastener enterprises have received a large number of overseas orders at major international exhibitions through on-site exhibition or agency exhibition.
Han Yonggang said that with the adjustment and optimization of epidemic prevention and control measures, the region adjusted and promoted foreign trade policies in a timely manner. At the same time, it actively planned to establish a “Hebei Business Alliance” overseas, supported larger enterprises to establish “overseas warehouses” in partnership to meet the ever-expanding demand for fastener exports in Yongnian, continued to promote the development of cross-border e-commerce, supported enterprises to set up overseas offices and other measures to help fastener enterprises in its jurisdiction expand overseas markets.
